A group of hikers has set up camps in Bercelan Plateau the Kurdish province of Hakkari in southeastern Turkey.
There is a lake on the plateau which is about 3,300 feet (about 1,000 meters) high.
A hiking group called CISAD wants to introduce the beauty of Hakkari to people outside the province.
About 75 people from Turkey and other places summited. On the trek it's said all four seasons can be seen.
Naci Ertunc is a CISAD member. He told Anadolu Agency (AA) that people from Iraq also have joined them.
"Our friends swam and paddled canoes in the lake. Our primary objective is to make all of Hakkari sites public for activities. People from both Turkey and Iraq joined. They were impressed by the scenes," he said.
