ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has led a delegation to the United Arab Emirates on Monday to participate in the World Government Summit in Dubai.
According to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Barzani “will hold a series of meetings with a number of world leaders and senior officials” to discuss strengthening ties with other countries and parties,” as well as “expanding mutual cooperation in areas such as development, economy, investment and trade.”
The Kurdistan Region’s premier has been actively participating in international conferences and forums to elevate the Kurdistan Region’s global profile.
The World Government Summit, a major global event, brings together leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore the future of governance, solutions for upcoming challenges and foster international cooperation. The two-day summit this year will begin on February 11.
