ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Rashid Salih Chakhmakhchy, 84, enjoys his daily bicycle ride around the city of Erbil.

He has been riding a bike since he was eight years old and says it keeps him healthy.

“You don’t need to see a doctor if you’re sick. Instead, you should ride a bike. That’s just my opinion,” he said on Thursday. “When I was young, I went to Kirkuk, Mosul, Koya, and I went to most of the villages by bicycle.”
