ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Renowned Kurdish pop singer and TV celebrity Dashni Morad is ending her three-year musical silence to release a Kurdish and English song next week.
The Kurdish song, called Freedom, portrays her own life and the video version is done in animation.
Dashni was artistically silent for about three years, releasing no albums during that time. She lives in The Netherlands and is currently visiting the Kurdistan Region.
Morad has done her own lyrics and melodies and the recording was done by a British team in London. She said that the video clips have now been completed.
