Iftar dates: a sweet way to break the Ramadan fast
The date, khourma in Kurdish, is a favourite staple in the Middle East, especially during Ramadan.
It is also the preferred fruit to break the Ramadan fast in the iftar meal, in the same way the Prophet Mohammed did.
